Remembering Rod McKuen
This week my dear friend Rod McKuen (April 29, 1933 – January 29, 2015) passed away.
I first noticed Rod in the early '60, working with Capitol Records we issued the LP Rod McKuen Sings Rod McKuen (Capitol T 2079). I still have the lp in my collection.
Between 1970-1975 Rod visited The Netherlands many times. He always stayed at the famous Hotel L'Europe in Amsterdam.
After each concert I got some records from Rod McKuen back in L'Europe. (1971 Rod McKuen at Carnegie Hall (W 1794) signed : To Herman - All The Best - Rod McKuen Amsterdam 17 oct 71.
A Portrait of Rod McKuen (SR 5072)

Rod Mckuen The Amsterdam Concert (SR 5051) signed : Thanks and Best Wishes Rod Mckuen ?? '72
